Accredited Leadership, Enterprise, Coaching and Social Impact training.

Social Enterprise Academy Wales deliver accredited learning and development programmes focusing on leadership, enterprise, personal development and social impact programmes that enable personal growth and organisational change.

Part of an international network of social enterprises, Wales Co-operative Centre are delivering Social Enterprise Academy (SEA) programmes in Wales to a variety of sectors, who are working for a social purpose.

The programmes are delivered by facilitators based here in Wales, who have helped leaders and organisations to become more successful and sustainable. Our unique approach to learning has helped organisations become stronger and more resilient, increasing both their social impact and economic stability.

Programmes with Impact

The experience on these programmes is often reported as “transformational” for individuals, their teams and organisations. By developing their strengths and self-awareness alongside support from their peers, learners find the space to reflect, think differently, develop new strategies and move forward.

These programmes support learners to embrace an entrepreneurial mindset and develop, adapt and grow sustainable enterprises. They take learners on a journey from understanding social enterprise and identifying income-generating opportunities to change leadership, market development and finance.

By utilising the tools we use on programmes, such as coaching, facilitation and action learning, learners can embed new approaches and thinking in their organisations. It enables individuals at all levels to bring out the best in each other and create a culture of growth and good communication skills.

The value charities and social enterprises create reaches far beyond financial terms, but this is often what is used to communicate accountability. These programmes develop an understanding of the theory of change and modern measurement frameworks that help organisations prove their social value.

Why choose Social Enterprise Academy?

Our delivery model is based on combining economic activity with community benefit. Our approach is ‘learning by doing’ – bringing together people who can learn from each other with the support of local practitioners, and working on live challenges and opportunities.

Whilst we continue to deliver our programmes online to keep everyone safe, we keep our cohorts to a manageable number to ensure maximum benefits for our learners.

Through practical, collaborative learning we can help you find new ways of meeting the challenges of delivering high social impact as well as financial sustainability.
