Vale Cricket Club uses community shares to safeguard the future of local cricket
The Club currently leases its ground and so it was looking to raise around £30k from the local community as part of the fundraising package which would enable it to purchase the site. The members approached the Wales Co-operative Centre for advice on doing this through community shares.
